- 05At MindHealth Psychiatry, the self-pay rate for a psychiatric evaluation is $200, and follow-up visits are $100 each. We accept credit and debit card payments in Arizona, Florida, and Maryland. If you have health insurance and prefer to submit a claim independently, we can provide a superbill upon request to assist you with the reimbursement process. This approach allows us to offer transparent pricing and flexible payment options while supporting patients who choose to manage their insurance claims directly.
- 06Controlled medications may be prescribed when clinically appropriate and in accordance with federal and state regulations. Under current federal guidelines, including temporary telemedicine provisions extended through 2026, certain controlled medications may be prescribed via telehealth without an initial in-person visit, provided all regulatory requirements are met and the prescription is issued for a legitimate medical purpose. All prescribing decisions are made based on a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, clinical judgment, and established treatment guidelines, including FDA recommendations.
